Dear Sisters,

We would like to welcome you to our Carmichael Stake Primary Blog. We are very excited to be able to use this wonderful format for you to share your ideas with one another. As we visit each of your Wards throughout the year we see you all doing so many amazing things in your Primary's. We hope that you will use this blog to share your ideas with one another. Each ward will be able to have one person post directly to the website (currently the Primary Presidents are the registered users) or you can contact Sister Kinghorn at carmichaelstakeprimary@gmail.com with the stories and photos you'd like to share.

Pioneer Days

Pioneer Days is approaching and we would like to ask for your help.

We have received responses from a few of you about what you will be doing with the children during Pioneer Days. DelCampo Ward will have a Square Dance area, which should be so much fun. Fair Oaks 5th Ward  will be repeating a popular activity with hoops and ribbons. Thank you all for your service to the children in our Stake. We are looking forward to hearing from the rest of you about the fun things you have planned.

As a Presidency we decided we will set up an area to churn butter with the children. Sister Childs will bring homemade bread to use to sample our butter. We would like the children to have an opportunity to "churn" their own butter in a baby food jar. We would like to know if anyone has some empty baby food jars with lids we could use? Maybe 10-15.

We are also in need of some Pioneer Clothing that we could wear during Pioneer Days. If you have any hats or dresses that you won't be using that you wouldn't mind loaning out please let us know.

We are also looking for an old fashioned style pitcher and bowl that was used at the bedside for handwashing.

We look forward to spending this fun day with all of you.

Your Stake Primary Presidency
